When you arrive for your baby's photo shoot, we won’t rush straight into taking images. First, we’ll sit down and chat. I’ll ask about what style of images and colours you love, and we can browse through some examples together. Do you adore soft neutrals and simple, classic poses? Or maybe you prefer bright colours, cute props, or a whimsical theme? This is your chance to tell me all about the look and feel you want in your baby's portraits.

Many parents bring up little details during this chat – perhaps the nursery is decorated in sage green, or maybe Grandma knitted a special blanket you'd like to include. By sharing these things, you help me plan a session that’s truly meaningful to you. I always say, there are no silly ideas! This friendly talk ensures we're on the same page and that you're comfortable before I even pick up my camera.

Throughout the shoot, I’ll also check in with you, making sure you’re happy with how things are going. If you change your mind or have a new idea mid-session, we can pivot – this time is all about you and your little one.
