Newborn Photography In Glasgow
Have you been searching for a Newborn Photographer In Glasgow, and you feel like you just don't know where to begin? It's completely understandable.
There are so many photographers out there; where do you begin finding someone who is the right fit for you?
The most important part of looking for a photographer has to be the safety of your newborn baby. You want to know your photographer will have the security and safety of your baby at the forefront of their mind during your photoshoot.
Many of the images I create (baby on a shelf, in a tree, etc) look as though I photographed the baby in this situation, but in reality, I safely photographed the baby on a bean-bag.
Please take a look at their newborn photography. Do they seem to be a long-established photographer? Have they photographed many babies?
Do you like their style? It's probably one of the first things that drew you to their website, and that's important too.
Our Studio In Glasgow
At our cottage studio in Glasgow, we specialize in photographing newborn babies. The studio is warm, cozy, and relaxing to make sure it's a comfortable temperature for newborns to have their very first photoshoot. It's the perfect environment for photographing newborn babies.
We also have facilities for new mums to have a model make-over during their photoshoot. This dedicated make-up room with beautiful gowns will make you feel the best you might have felt for quite a few months. And every new mum needs a little pampering.
Having newborn family photography for the first time after giving birth can make some new mums feel horrified. Some will feel they don't want to be in front of a camera, and that's so understandable.
Our mummy make-overs will take all that fear away and have you looking INCREDIBLE!!
You can have any style you would like, natural, more dramatic; it's entirely up to you. With your make-up on and your hair styling sorted, you will rock your newborn family photos!
How Old Should My Baby Be?
In an ideal world, your baby would come into the studio during their first couple of weeks. It's when newborns are at their most sleepy and curl easily into all those lovely positions that you see.
But if for any reason you can't make it during those first weeks, it's not a problem. Babies can still have beautiful newborn portraits many weeks after being born, and you can check out my blog post here that talks about that further.
An ideal time to get booked in the diary would be after your twenty-week scan. That lets me get a floating date in the diary for you, as you won't know your exact date (unless you are booked in for a C-section), and even then, that can change.
But if you don't manage to get booked in at that time, please get in touch, and I can let you know how my diary is looking. And if your little one is already here, then hopefully, we can get you booked in quickly.
I only book one photoshoot per day, as newborn photography sessions can last for up to 3 hours.
I want you to feel no time pressure when it comes to your baby's newborn photos. It will take as long as it takes, and there will be plenty of time with cuddles and feeding.
Choosing The Colours You Love
Once you have booked your date in the diary and your day draws closer, we will have a chat about what colours you would like to include in your shoot.
I want to make sure that we include all the colours that you love and backgrounds too.
We will chat about any newborn sibling photographs to be included in your photoshoot, and family images that you would like.
We will also discuss how you feel about having a make-over at the time and if it's something you might like.
If I can help you with any other questions or you would like to book in, just get in touch, and I'll get back to you asap.
