Arriving At The Studio
Our studio sits in the heart of Lanarkshire, Glasgow with easy access off the motorway for all major towns like East Kilbride, Hamilton, Cambuslang, Rutherglen, and Glasgow City Centre. It's situated just off Main Street in Blantyre, down a long tree-lined driveway.
The driveway has an avenue of sycamore trees that start to make you feel as though you have stepped off Main Street and into the countryside.
As you reach the bottom of the driveway, it stretches out into a large courtyard with plenty of private parking.
On the left-hand side of the courtyard sits a stone cottage, and this is our office. It's where you will come to when you first arrive. It has a sign outside that says reception. It has chairs and tables outside, and it's a lovely area to sit and relax on a sunny day.
On the right-hand side of the courtyard sits the studio, another stone-built cottage.
I often use the grounds and trees around the office and studio in my outdoor family and children's photoshoots. It gives an entirely different look from the images taken inside the studio and gives you more choice in your image selection.
The studio is a stone-built cottage (built-in 1731) and is very, very, charming. My husband and I renovated the property from a shell in 2014 to become a photography studio. It has an underfloor heating system throughout and is warm and cozy.
It has a bathroom, waiting area, make-up room, bedroom and of course the main studio itself. And my clients often comment that it has such a lovely calm feeling inside.
It's such a perfect environment for you and your newborn or growing family to come and enjoy a family photoshoot together.
Upon arriving at the studio, you will be offered drinks before we get started. And then, if you are with us for a newborn photoshoot, you will have as much time as you need to feed your little one with plenty of privacy available.
After Your Photoshoot
After your photoshoot, I can get you booked in for a time and date that suits you to come back and view your images.
And when you come back to your viewing and ordering session, you get a chance to sit and look at your images on the large screen.
It's lovely and exciting to view your family photo session with big clear images. And it feels emotional too.
We go through all your options, and you choose what suits you the best.
Many of my clients love choosing memories for their walls at home. It's good to bring along a photograph of where you would like to place your frame. This way, we can look at which style of frame and size would suit your wall best.
If you would like to chat about getting booked into our studio or would like any more information, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
